Please see below the CUSOP processing arrangements for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter 2021.

While St. Patrick’s Day (17th March) is a Public Holiday in the Republic of Ireland, it is a SEPA processing day (SEPA remains open). As such, you will receive incoming SEPA transactions on Wednesday, 17th March.

Transaction processing on Wednesday 17th March will be normal for outgoing credits.

CUSOP Easter Processing Arrangements:

During Easter, the European Payment systems will be closed for Good Friday and Easter Monday (April 2nd & April 5th).  As a consequence there will be no SEPA processing on these days.

SEPA Credit Transfer transactions submitted to CUSOP after the daily cut-off time of 13.40 on Thursday April 1st must have a settlement date of the next SEPA processing day – Tuesday 6th April.

Incoming Credits from CUSOP to Credit Union:

Good Friday April 2nd & Easter Monday April 5th

There will be no incoming files on Friday 2nd April & Monday 5th April.

Outgoing Credits from Credit Union to CUSOP:

Thursday April 1st

Transaction processing on Thursday 1st April will be normal for outgoing credits.  CUSOP will have a normal cut off time of 10:00, 13:40 and 17:00 for receipt of outgoing files from your ITSP.

Good Friday April 2nd & Easter Monday April 5th

There will be no outgoing files.  Outgoing files received after the CUSOP cut-off time of Thursday April 1st will be processed on the morning of Tuesday 6th April.

CUSOP is advising Credit Unions to send credit transfer files out as early as possible on the days immediately preceding Easter. We are aware that the Banks are advising business customers to send payroll files out earlier this Easter, preferably on Wednesday, to ensure delivery before the Easter weekend.
